Power is the core index to judge the brightness and stability of motorcycle LED lights, and it is also the most falsely marked parameter in the market. Many merchants advertise ultra-high power lights of 80W or 100W at low prices, but they are falsely marked in fact. Such lights have insufficient actual brightness, severe heat generation, and are prone to burn beads and circuits in long-term use, seriously damaging the motorcycle circuit system.
The real effective power of conventional motorcycle LED lights is concentrated in 50-60W. This power range meets the demand of high-brightness night lighting and matches the original motorcycle circuit load without causing overload. Genuine high-power lights are equipped with professional heat dissipation structures, generally 1-2 pure copper heat conduction tubes + large-area heat dissipation aluminum sheets, and some high-end models are equipped with silent cooling fans to ensure stable heat dissipation under high-power operation. Falsely marked high-power lights mostly have no copper tube heat dissipation, relying only on simple aluminum sheets, resulting in rapid overheating and severe light attenuation after ten minutes of lighting.
Selecting lights with real power ensures stable brightness, no circuit damage and longer service life.
